It is stunning to see the rapid changes in America as we become less Christian every day.

Franklin Graham said, "We are at the mercy of a generation that seems to have no respect for God's standards and no awareness of His redeeming love."

The world is not marching toward God's judgment it is running.  Why is there coming a day of God's wrath? We see the reason for God's wrath in Romans 1:18. His wrath is coming because of the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.

What a great VBS! We enrolled 195 with an average attendance of 153. The church provided a free meal each night for those who attended. The meals were delicious. The youth and children all received free school supplies at the end of each night VBS.

We learned how humankind was divided into different groups of people having their own language and culture. The most important lesson was the gospel. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The students learned how Jesus Christ came to save every person who will repent and receive Him as their Lord and Savior.

I especially want to thank all the teachers and workers who served during VBS. They taught their lessons and loved our guests. I am privileged and blessed to pastor such a wonderful group of believers.

The real thanks and praise goes to the Lord. He is the one who blessed our school.

If you would like to know more about our church, please call me at 540-365-2427. I would be glad to share the gospel with you.

J. I. Packer: "The fact is that the subject of divine wrath has become taboo in modern society, and Christians by and large have accepted the taboo and conditioned themselves never to raise the matter."

Arthur W. Pink: "It is sad indeed to find so many professing Christians who appear to regard the wrath of God as something for which they need to make an apology, or who at least wish there were no such thing."

Christians today only want to hear and talk about the love and goodness of God. They are offended if a preacher declares the holiness of God and His wrath against sin. It makes Christians feel uncomfortable. It is understandable that a sinner feels that way, but it makes no sense at all for a Christian to be offended. God's divine hatred of sin is just as much a part of His perfect nature as is His love for sinners.
