HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR

Each year people make resolutions for the New Year. As Christians, we do not need to make any resolutions; but we should submit to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ. We can have a blessed New Year if we will humble ourselves before God and seek to do His will each day. The greatest mistake we can make is planning the future without God.

Daily Grace

Thank God for Grace

Grace is amazing. The Bible teaches that God’s gift of salvation is given to us by grace. Man’s feeble attempts to try please God by his works have always fallen short. We are not able to please God because of the weakness of our flesh. We are sinners by nature because we all have the nature of Adam.

We find ourselves thinking like Paul: “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” Romans 7:19

We cry out like Paul: “O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Romans 7:24

God has revealed the “Who” that can deliver us from sin and death. It is His Son, Jesus Christ. God’s grace provided our Deliverer. God has “delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.” Colossians 1:13

We now can say with Paul. “I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.” Romans 7:25

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Give the Lord thanks for His amazing Grace!
