Christmas is always thought of as a time of joy and celebration. The first celebration started with the birth of a son that left an old couple dancing. God gave Zacharias and Elisabeth a gift in response to their prayers. The announcement of the coming miracle left Zacharias dumb and Elisabeth expecting. They named their son John who would be the forerunner of Jesus Christ.

This parable of Jesus focuses on His return. There are different interpretations applied to these verses. Some believe it is about His return at the rapture for His bride the church. Others believe it is His return to set up His Millennial Kingdom at the end of Tribulation. Regardless of which interpretation is correct, this parable is about Christ's return at some unknown hour and the need for His people to be ready. Are you among the wise or the foolish in this parable?

      <title>Lessons for Fathers</title>
      <link>https://www.ebenezerbaptistcallaway.org/lessons-for-life</link>
<description>Father's Day is our time to honor all the fathers. Today, fathers receive a warning from the Word of God not to be blind to sin of their children and never honor one's children above God. Eli was a father who loved God and loved his sons but was a failure as a father. He paid a great price!</description>
