When we look at the world around us and into our own hearts we may ask, “What is wrong with us?  Why is there so much sin in the world?  Why do I think sinful thoughts and commit terrible sins?  How did we get in this condition?  Is there any hope?”  Sin is the ruin of the human race, but with God there is answer! His grace is greater than our sin.

Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,

Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!

Yonder on Calvary’s mount out-poured—

There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.

Sin and despair, like the sea-waves cold,

Threaten the soul with infinite loss;

Grace that is greater-yes, grace untold—

Points to the Refuge, the mighty Cross.

Ebenezer Baptist Church is a rural church with a desire to serve a Great God.  In this world of uncertainty, God's promises as found in His Word are steadfast.  He still speaks to the hurting, lonely, and seeking heart.  If you are longing to know God or looking for a church home, I invite you to be our guest. A warm, friendly welcome awaits you!                    Pastor Billy

The faith and hope we have in Almighty God will never leave us disappointed. We will never be ashamed for having giving our lives to the Lord Jesus. The word hope as we use it today doesn't meaning the same thing in Scripture. In the Greek hope means "confident expectation" or "anticipation," not "wishful thinking." The Bible teaches us that God is the giver of hope and is our hope.
